My Story
I'm Sylwia, a Polish native who has called Switzerland home since 2012. The beauty of nature draws me outdoors, where I find both rest and inspiration. I am passionate about photography, where I strive to capture life's fleeting moments and breathtaking landscapes through my lens.
Data
My path as a physicist with a PhD in Nanoscience has been a remarkable journey through the world of manipulation of single atoms, molecules, and quantum states. While this path was deeply rewarding, my growing fascination with Artificial Intelligence led me to developing Deep Learning models for healthcare applications.
My professional life has always revolved around data and analytics. I've always found joy in crafting visualizations to communicate results of my work, whether for presentations or academic publications. However, it was only recently that I discovered Data Visualization as a distinct field, rich with impactful, aesthetically pleasing and unconventionally designed pieces based on various datasets. Fascinated, I immersed myself in exploring this domain, and along the way, I also uncovered the world of Data Art focusing on creating artistic pieces using data as medium.
